DSC Doralt Seist Csoklich welcomes Martin Legath to the team. The lawyer joins the firm's banking law practice as of October 2022 as an Associate. His focus lies on banking law, consumer protection, general terms and conditions law as well as litigation.
Martin Legath was most recently employed as a university assistant at the Institute for Civil and Civil Procedure Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. During his doctoral studies, he received a scholarship for a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg as well as a funding scholarship from the Heinrich Graf Hardegg'schen Stiftung for his dissertation project. In addition, he was awarded the prestigious Bankenverband prize for his dissertation on the topic of "Einseitige Vertragsänderung im Massengeschäft mit Verbrauchern".
In addition to his work at DSC, Martin Legath is an external lecturer at the Institute for Civil and Civil Procedure Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . He is, furthermore, author of multiple civil law publications.
