about Oliver Sturm

Oliver Sturm is a partner at DSC. He is one of Austria’s leading experts on public procurement and PPP projects. In addition, he advises and represents Austrian and foreign companies in the areas of construction contract and public procurement law as well as public commercial law. Another focus of his practice is legal representation in construction contract disputes, in particular in litigation in connection with claims for additional costs, warranty claims or claims for damages.

Oliver Sturm completed his doctoral studies in law at the University of Vienna. He was an assistant at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Vienna and worked in the legal department of a construction corporation. He then worked as an associate and attorney specializing in construction law, construction contract law and public procurement law in a large Austrian commercial law firm before becoming head of the legal department of ASFINAG.

He is the author of numerous professional publications.
