The DSC Partner sheds light on the new EU Supply Chain Due Diligence Directive.
As part of our “To The Point” event series, we regularly get to the heart of current legal topics.
On November 27, 2024, our experts gave insight into one of the hottest topics of the year: value protection clauses. Recently, the Austrian Supreme Court ruled that value protection clauses in rental agreements are inadmissible. The potential consequences extend far beyond the case in question and already affect various other sectors of the economy, such as banks and insurance companies, mobile phone providers and energy suppliers.
DSC lawyers Nina Mitterdorfer (real estate law) and Fabian Liebel (banking law) provided insights into the current case law and its effects and showed what steps need to be taken in the future. The exciting presentation was followed by a lively discussion. A relaxed get-together rounded off the evening.
Many thanks to our guests for their active participation and the interesting discussion. A big thank you goes, furthermore, to the team of Marco Simonis – Bastei 10 for the great atmosphere and the excellent food.
