Fabian Liebel is attorney at law at DSC and works in particular in the areas of banking and banking supervisory law, general terms and conditions law, consumer law and litigation. He supports Austrian and international credit institutions in all banking law matters, for example in the introduction of new banking and financial services, the implementation of current (European) consumer protection and supervisory law requirements and the defense of individual and association claims. He was recently recognized as one of the leading Austrian banking law experts by the renowned legal directory The Legal 500 EMEA.
In addition to his work at DSC, Fabian Liebel is a lecturer at the Institute for Civil and Civil Procedure Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, a speaker at specialist conferences and the author of numerous Publications in the field of civil and banking law. His dissertation on banking secrecy, written at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, has received several awards, including the prestigious Banking Association Award.
