The DSC Partner sheds light on the new EU Supply Chain Due Diligence Directive.
The "Gruft", one of Vienna's best-known Caritas facilities, has been offering homeless people a safe haven and human warmth for over 30 years. In the project "Cooking for the Gruft", volunteers can lend a hand and actively help by preparing and serving a meal. The most important ingredient: a passion for cooking.
Last week, our team consisting of Amela Bilalic, Sabine Deutsch, Lejla Mehic, Jürgen Reinold and our law firm's very own "chef" David Tritremmel got to grips with cooking for 150 homeless people. This time, we served minced meat and vegetable patties with fluffy mashed potatoes. For dessert, we prepared delicious "Polsterzipf" (puff pastry) with jam or hazelnut cream filling.
We consider ourselves very fortunate - as a company and as a team. Paying forward is, thus, a big part of our culture and we are very proud to support the important work of Caritas with our regular contribution.
