Ulrich Edelmann (34) joined DSC Doralt Seist Csoklich Rechtsanwälte as a partner in the summer of 2021. The expert in capital markets and finance specialises in advising banks and companies in the context of lending (large loans / LMA Standard), in corporate law in the course of transactions as well as in contentious proceedings. Edelmann joined DSC in 2016 and has extensive expertise in advising national and international clients. Prior to that, he was head of the office of the Austrian Takeover Commission.

In addition to his law degree, Edelmann completed his studies in international business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a focus on corporate accounting and auditing as well as international finance and foreign language business communication. In addition, he obtained a CEMS Master's degree in International Management. As part of his studies, he spent one semester each at McGill University in Montréal (Canada) and at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). His dissertation on the subject of information exchange in antitrust law was published by Linde Verlag in 2015. Edelmann completed most of his studies, including his doctorate in law, as well as his bar examinations swiftly and with distinction. He was admitted to the bar in 2019 at attorney at law .
Ulrich Edelmann discovered his passion for legal work during his time as a university assistant at the Institute for Civil and Corporate Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, where he has worked continuously as a university lecturer since 2010. In 2011, he started as a legal assistant at the Takeover Commission in Vienna and later rose to head of the office in 2014. He is a sought-after lecturer in his field and the author of numerous Publications. A passionate football player, he prefers to spend his free time with his family and two young daughters.
