Since January 1, 2024, companies have had another corporate form at their disposal with the Flexible Capital Company ("FlexKapG" or "FlexCo"). The new legal form has often been touted as a booster for start-ups in the political debate during the legislative process. However, the FlexKapG is by no means only open to a few "innovative" and early-stage companies, but can be set up for any purpose.
