Fabian Liebel in the Alternative Investmentfonds Manager-Gesetz Kommentar

Finally, it has arrived – the first commentary on the Austrian AIFMG has just been published by MANZ Verlag. Along with numerous colleagues from the legal profession, the fund sector, and the FMA Financial Market Authority Austria, our banking law expert Fabian Liebel had the opportunity to contribute to this work, commenting on several key provisions of supervisory law.

His commentaries include:

• The provisions on risk management (§ 13)
• Investments in securitization positions (§ 14)
• Liquidity management (§ 15)
• Information obligations towards the FMA (§ 21)

All of these are exciting topics, not only for fund management but also due to extensive overlaps with the legal requirements of the banking sector.
