Sophie Zimmermann-Meinzingen is an associate at DSC, primarily advising on corporate and capital markets law. Another focus of her practice is foreign investment control law, particularly in connection with international M&A transactions.
During her diploma studies in law at the University of Vienna, Sophie Zimmermann-Meinzingen worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Corporate and Business Law and gained practical experience through several summer internships at renowned Viennese commercial law firms. After graduating, she worked as a university assistant at the Center for Comparative Corporate Finance at the Institute for Corporate and Business Law at the University of Vienna.
Sophie Zimmermann-Meinzingen completed her doctoral studies in law at the University of Vienna with distinction. Her doctoral thesis examines the permissibility of national foreign investment control mechanisms, such as those under the Austrian Investment Control Act, against the background of European primary and secondary law.
