The student team (Angela Bis, Adrian Strobl, Elias Ulrich) coached by DSC wins the Viennese Moot Court for civil law and moves on to the Austrian finals.

Like in the last years members of DSC fared well in the ranking of attorneys at law published by the Austrian business weekly “trend” in the fields of banking, private clients & foundations and real estate

On 15 January 2018, the Beneficial Owner Register Act, BGBl I Nr 136/2017 (“Wirtschaftliche Eigentümer Registergesetz“, “WiEReG“), came into effect. Arts 5 and 18 WiEReG requires certain legal entities to disclose certain information via the Austrian Business Service Portal called (“Unternehmensserviceportal“, “USP“). Legal entities that fail to report the required data until 1 June 2018 can be fined up to an amount of EUR 200,000,00 and – in case of intent – commit a financial offence (art 15 WiEReG).

Starting on 2 May 2018, Austrian lawyers can submit the required data to the USP on behalf of their clients (art 18 WiEReG). If you are interested in our legal services regarding the WiEReG, you can contact us anytime via e-mail (Mrs Martina Flach: flach@dsc.at, CC: grahammer@dsc.at).
